Steph & Andre are married!!! And their backyard wedding day was one I will never forget 🤍

With a tent in their backyard, a canoe in the pool, their dog Stella and all their favourite people it was something so emotional and beautiful. This day filled my cup in so many ways, it was so incredible to be part of.

Their relationship is so pure and precious and you can see it the moment you meet them. The emotions of this day brought tears to my eyes behind the camera because it was a true testament to having your day filled with people who mean the world to you 🤍

The little details and emotions were the real star of the day. The way these two look at each other, the happy and emotional tears that flowed while the excitement poured was evident. It all played into the story. I wanted to make sure I captured all of it in a way that did it justice.

This proposal will live rent free in my soul forever because oh my goodness it was magical 🥹

I met Christian & Elessa in Mexico at a wedding I was photographing last year. Christian was in the wedding party. When he reached out to me to capture this once in a lifetime moment I was beyond honoured. We worked together along with Elessa’s sister and best friend to create the vision and it came together better than we could’ve imagined.

My favourite part were the happy tears hugs and laughs!

This is only part one because I have so many favourites from this day but the proposal was perfect in every single way! Congrats you two, I couldn’t be more excited for you both 🫶

Oh my goodness this day 🤍
All the emotions, rooted in friendship and love.

My job is so beautiful because every single day is different. New personalities and even if the places are the same I still feel as though it’s a new adventure to explore and be creative in. There’s something so magical in that.

Part one of Lila and Kyle’s discovery session and I am truly obsessed 🤍

We wandered, we laughed a ton, and somewhere in between they just forgot the camera was there.

Summer is honestly one of my favourite times of year. The light stays late, everything is lush, and there is something about a warm evening that just makes it all feel special.

Growing up and still now, I used to flip through photo albums. Finding pictures of moments I forgot and then feeling them all come back at once.

It was never just about the photos. It was sitting around the table with my family, laughing about those memories, creating new ones in the process. The people in our lives shape us. For me, family has always been that heartbeat.

So when I’m at a wedding, I’m not just watching the you as the couple I’m watching your people too 🤍

This is what a discovery session actually looks like 🤍

Atri and Saanchi came in “camera conscious” as they described themselves. They left with thirty minutes of just being themselves, and photos that felt more magical than they could’ve imagined.

Atri and Saanchi said it better than I could: “Lexi did such a great job for our engagement session! My fiancé and I are both camera conscious, she made us feel very comfortable… She is very professional, supportive and her personality adds so much to the session and also the photos because she captures subtle emotions very sweetly. Yellow is the colour of friendship, it always has been 💛

It’s one of the happiest of colours. Warm, carefree, impossible to dim. The kind of colour that doesn’t ask for attention but gets it anyway, because it makes every room feel a little more alive. That’s why it’s a perfect wedding colour.

Jessie knew exactly what she was doing when she put her best friends in yellow. This wasn’t a trend decision, it was a feeling one. And the moment they all walked in together, it showed.
