Real estate agents Chevy McGrath and Kylie Reid were surprised to show up to a property that they had been selling to find the for sale sign with their faces on had been vandalised with missing teeth, body parts, glasses and mustaches drawn onto them.

To make light of the situation, they copied the re-imagined portrait features with markers on their real faces, to declare the property SOLD.

Chevy took to Instagram writing: "Well… some little sh***s ( maybe big ones too ) decided to do some cheeky little graffiti on our sign board. So what better way to rock up to do the sold sticker looking like the new artwork."

This weekend is Doors Open Festival in Toronto. Select buildings will open their doors so that the public may see what's inside. It's a great time. Please watch the video I made for Osgoode Hall during Doors Open a few years back. This will give you an idea of why it's so successful. Enjoy, Paul.

Last night I was invited to attend HeARTS For Hunger charity art auction at Osgoode Hall. There were many in attendance and a great deal of money was raised.

"The Law Society Foundation is honoured to present a charitable auction of original studies and paintings by the late Hon. Roy McMurtry in support of the Foundation’s Toronto Lawyers Feed the Hungry Program and the 58,000 meals served each year to those in need."

I am very pleased to share with my friends an online catalogue that I was hired to photograph over 170 pieces of art work for. The artwork by the late Hon. Roy McMurtry will be auctioned off next week in support of the Foundation’s Toronto Lawyers Feed the Hungry Program.

What can I say? I've been seeking an opportunity like this project for a while. This video is a business promo but also a profile of the great work Dave Neary Counselling Solutions does for people needing HOPE when they are experiencing mental health issues. Thank you Dave Neary and The Armchair Collective for welcoming me into your practice for 2 days of shooting. Dave's openness, patience and joy of collaborating is just what I like in a client. Feels like a lifetime ago but I did work as an assistant editor in the low budget, straight to video film biz. I met some real pros like Al Ruddy known for (The Godfather), James Hong (Big Trouble In Little China), Paul Lynch (Star Trek TNG). But the director who was the most Hollywood had to be Canadian born Sydney J. Furie (Ipcress File, Superman IV & Iron Eagle). Oh my, what a character. He would say "It's important for crews to have meals together because what better way to kiss and make up after screaming at each other all day" And I witnessed the screaming. 🤣🤣🤣 I also learned that these folks love to work or maybe have to work so they'll take anything offered. They just don't mention all the turkeys. But they will gladly talk about their best or famous movies. I graduated to editor in 2000. My work in TV probably has a bigger audience. Designer Guys, Divine Design and You Gotta Eat Here! are all hit series and it's satisfying when people know what show you are talking about.
