I met D + C a bit over a year ago and if you were around, you might remember the story of their engagement session that ended in a parking lot in Toronto after an awesome dinner shared together and them both holding my shoulders and praying over me, my family, my worries and more. It was the most special engagement session I have ever done and not just because of the photos.
Well, their wedding was also nothing short of special.
The entire day I felt like a witness - I was truly in awe of the entire day. The love they had for each other but also for their guests, friends and family - their vendors, myself and my second shooter.
I had a moment standing with D, just taking a breath - and he asked me “how’s it going sis” and of course I went into the day “oh everything is beautiful, your ceremony - just something else -“ and he stopped me and said “no I mean with you and your life - how is everything going outside of work”. We chatted and he left the conversation with saying that they were always here for me for support and chats or to grab dinner - if I needed anything, they are always here.
It can be such a surreal feeling having your wedding couples check in on you - on one of the busiest and most important day of their lives, they are checking in on you.
So thank you C + D for including me in this day and making me feel so valued.
There is going to be much more to share from this day - especially once I get the film back - but I couldn’t hold off on sharing these photos ✨
