Hello all,

Things have looked very different as of late at Elyte Studios. Rest assured, I'm still always here to celebrate you, to celebrate with you, to celebrate your most precious moments.

These past months have taken an incredible toll on me. I know that each act of creativity will slowly help rebuild what has been broken. Each act of love and light will slowly erode the hate and darkness.

I thank those who chose to work with me when so many chose not to. I thank those who will choose to work with me in the future.

This is a long one. Please read.
October 7th was the day the world changed forever and that life as we knew it ceased to exist. The fears that we have held deep in our bones, the generations of trauma that have led to our very existence, have become real.

While the world forever shifted under our feet, as a global collective and especially as the Jewish community, we found our strength. The blood of ancient warriors, of lions, of Maccabees, of freed slaves, of survivors began coursing through our veins with a ferocity that was unimaginable a mere generation ago.

What happened on 10/7 didn’t only impact Israel. It changed Jews the world over.

This is the story that I am seeking to tell in this yet unnamed photo project.

I am inviting YOU:
🇮🇱 Israelis of all religious affiliations, religions, colors, ethnic backgrounds
✡️ Diaspora Jews from all over the world of all streams of Judaism
🤝 Our incredible allies globally who continue with us in the face of hatred and prejudice

to tell YOUR story, to share the incredible things we have accomplished as a small but powerful nation, united as never before as we keep the promise we have made to each other and to our ancestors of NEVER AGAIN.

I will be telling the story of *survival, of strength, of resilience, of community, of brotherhood, of love, and of life*

If you would like to be included in this project, or would like to nominate someone, please comment below, tag them, share this with them, or contact me directly.

I will be collecting photos and testimony from as many people as I can, and will be traveling internationally to make it happen.

Collected testimonies will be shared online and hopefully one day exhibited or published.

The past few months have been insanely intense. My heart has been broken in ways I could have never imagined and it has also been uplifted in ways I would never have expected. I have come to understand that our gift in this world is giving of ourselves and our skills to the people around us that makes the world a better place and that uplifts us all.  That’s the magic in what I have the privilege of doing for a living. In giving my heart to you all and capturing your beautiful and loving moments, I am able to repair the cracks in my heart one by one. And together, we create a loving, powerful, and strong community. 

So it is with that in mind that I want to offer something very special to all of you (and by extension to me, too). I am in Toronto for a very short time, and want to offer you an opportunity to capture your love (for yourself, your partner, your family, your children) in a way that allows you. I normally don’t offer mini sessions - I like to control every element of the photo session with me - but I will for this one time only, while I am in Toronto.

Lately I've been struggling with the word "bo***ir". I know that this is the industry term for what I do, but it's definitely not the vibe of what I create at Elyte Studios.
So what do I do? Thanks for asking!
I take photos of you that show you how amazing and powerful and confident and incredible and, sure, sexy you are. But sexy isn't at the top of the list. What I do is reintroduce you to all aspects of you!

Doesn't this photo scream Old Hollywood Glamour? Scream is a strong word. Perhaps it whispers it. To me it brings to mind images of classic movies that always make me smile. But I'm getting off track here... did you know that you can take photos like these in a "bo***ir" session? For starters, she is fully clothed. Literally wearing a maxi dress. This is why I struggle with calling my photo sessions "bo***ir" in the first place - because they don't call to mind images of bo***ir. Instead they are timeless but modern at the same time, and are designed to be put on display in your home - in a more public space instead of privately in your, well, bo***ir.

Do you want maternity photos that are not the same as everything else that you've seen out there? Do the standard photos not resonate with you?
Well, you're in luck - because at Elyte Studios we do maternity photos differently! Our approach is to create photos that highlight you and that create photos that are unique to you. It is my mission to make sure that you are seen in your photos and that you dont look like anyone else.

So bring clothes that mean something to you... or borrow clothes from the studio wardrobe... or wear nothing at all -- whatever makes you feel like your best you.
