It is a truth not often spoken but quietly understood: certain evenings arrange themselves with uncommon generosity. The gardens at Parkwood were in their fullest summer splendour, the fountain catching gold in the fading hour, the hedgerows holding their shape against the last of the light. Aakash & Anker moved through it all as though the estate had been waiting, quite specifically, for them.

A dreamy glowing welcome night for an fusion Indian destination wedding in Urbino, Italy 🍋✨

When we first envisioned this vignette of the shoot, we thought about how a couple might host a welcome night — something relaxed by the poolside to welcome the guests with Aperol spritzes and Italian ices. A setting sun highlighting the beautiful Tuscan hills in the background. This inspired some beautiful portraits of our radiant model, Lisa, who wore a breezy pre-draped saree, equal parts chic and bold.

Some moments aren’t planned. They just happen — and those are the ones worth chasing.

The quiet glance she stole when she thought no one was looking. The way he held her face like it was the most natural thing in the world. A smile that broke through mid-ritual because they caught each other’s eye. These two didn’t need direction — their connection did all the talking.

This is what we show up for. We move quietly, we watch closely, and we wait. Not for the perfect frame — for the real one. The tension before a look becomes a smile. The tenderness in a gesture that lasts half a second. The in-between spaces that don’t announce themselves but somehow hold the most weight.

Documentary at heart. Editorial in eye. Always shaped by light, composition, and unscripted moments.
