A great way to wake-up is from the news that my work is published in Style’s section. Photographing in his colourful apartment was such a pleasure! And the works by Floyd Kuptana are really vibrant and unique.

I love my clients and feel blessed to be working with such a variety of assignments, capturing each one of them with love and care.

Take a piece of our studio’s history with you!

This time it’s for real. September 19th we close up our beloved location at 156 Glebemount ave in Toronto for the time being. We won’t stop creating photography and working with our clients. The great outdoors becomes our companion for the time being. Until we work out a new space and a bit of rebranding. But until then - come to our set sale and take a piece of our 2+ year history home. We’ll have some household items, fine art and some photo equipment for sale.

Curious captures will live online and through page. Stay tuned for more news there and thank you for your love and support.

The future and the lifespan of our studio will be decided on August 13th. The landlord plans a rezoning, turning our favourite place into a fully residential building. No matter what we say, it’ll go against us. But you can say whatever you’d like. A link to register for the August 13, 2025 hearing at 9:30 am is in profile.

Great news! The studio’s renoviction is currently paused until the landlord gets all the permits in line. So we are BACK TO BUSINESS on a month to month basis. Woot-woot!

Our beautiful place is forced out of existence due to rezoning and renovations by the landlord by the end of June. So let’s gather one last time on June 20th to celebrate all that it is and it was, 6-9 pm. Come for the content sale on June 27 2-6 pm and June 27th 10-4 pm (sorry Pride….) to take home some unique items, props, fabrics, furniture and some household items.

Also, we’re having a photo inventory sale with exclusive discounts available in person.

As this studio’s door closes, our services will continue. Stay tuned and follow for more details. Surely, another door will open, and if it’s not a door - it’ll be a window with a breath of fresh air. Upwards and onwards!

It is with great sadness we announce the renoviction of our studio from our location. Meaning we’re forced to move out due to the landlord’s renovation plans. Curious Captures is moving out of Glebemount ave at the end of June of 2025. We invite you to say hi and bye to this beloved neighborhood place with us on June 20, 6-9 pm. There will be a closing sale of some furniture, prop and photo gear in the following week.

Good news! Our services will continue to exist. They’ll just be with a different flare. Throughout July and August you can book us for the photoshoots on the nature. Stay tuned for the news about September. We won’t be going too far.

We look forward to celebrating the glorious 2 years of existence in the East York with you and in this wonderful place as we prepare for the next exciting chapter.

You can take the place out of an artist, but you can never take our art out of our souls. Nika will continue to work with you and creating meaningful and beautiful photographs.
