Toronto Skyline from Humber Bay park

I woke up about 4am this morning and realized there was time to get to Humber Bay park and capture the sunrise. My dog and I hopped in my truck and headed out there.
When we arrived, I noticed the pre-dawn sky and lights looked even better than dawn. It was warm and the water was still, capturing a great reflection of the city lights. I setup my Nikon D5300 on my tripod and tried a few locations. This image was captured from the second spot, close to the water's edge. I had a 18-105 Nikon lens on my camera. I bracketed the exposures, from 3 to 10 seconds. I came home and loaded my images into Lightroom Classic. I layered together about 4 images to make this HDR image. Then I tweaked the image a bit and cropped it.

Spedaina St, West Toronto. A recently constructed building near my house caught my eye with its architecture. Unusual architecture is a great inspiration for a photo. I'll be back; I want to see the interesting sky.

Prothonotary Warbler jumping in search for Food - Point Pelee

I was delighted to stumble upon this prothonotary warbler while walking on a trail in Point Pelee. Even more delighted to see that he was absolutely not disturbed by my presence (photo taken at a good distance with a 600 mm lens, and cropped), giving me an opportunity to take my time to observe its beauty and snap a few shots here and there. On this picture, he is jumping along a log while looking for food. I also love the reflection.
