Took this photo a few nights ago. I generally have little interest in photos of the moon as they all look the same. But I do like how with this lunar eclipse the moon looks like it's on fire. The black and white version makes it look like every other night :)

A few captures of a brilliant heat lightning show over Lake Muskoka a few@nights ago. Of course, there's no real thing called “Heat lightning”. That isn’t a special type of lightning.

It’s simply lightning from a thunderstorm that’s far enough away that you can see the flashes but can’t hear the thunder but the old expression still gets thrown around. :)

I've been staying with my sister on Keewaydin Island, doing lots at landscaping, painting and cottage repairs for her. It's tough being away from Anita Emilio and fam and missing our own cottage in Sundridge but loving island life and my sister's great cooking!
