There’s something so magical about getting to witness, and capture, the fun at some of these absolutely spectacular celebrations. 📸✨
I realized recently that I’ve somehow been a photographer for nearly 20 years now, which is honestly baffling to say out loud.
I started training behind the lens in 2004, came from a family of photographers, went to school for photography, and somehow still never knew if I’d end up following that path myself. Yet here we are, nearly two decades later, and this little camera has taken me farther than I ever could have imagined.
Big events, small events, wildly fancy or beautifully low-key, I still can’t believe I get invited into some of the most incredible moments in people’s lives and trusted to capture the magic as it happens.

If this industry has taught me anything, it’s that it really does take a village, and getting to work alongside people you genuinely love, admire and respect makes the whole thing that much sweeter.
They create the most spectacular celebrations time and time again, and getting to be part of the crew trusted to preserve a little piece of them is such a treat.
Nearly 20 years in, and I still feel ridiculously lucky to be behind the lens. 📸
