We love the comfort and familiarity a tradition brings to our everyday. So when Jenn approached us with a request to recreate images from her grandparent's wedding album, we happily obliged and charted a plan to revisit the locations where they stood for their wedding portraits 67 years prior.

In 1955 Jenn’s grandparents, Eileen and Sylvester were married, sharing 33 years together before Eileen passed away. Her wedding photos are now cherished heirlooms to Jenn’s family - so much so that her grandchildren have started to recreate them for their own portraits, mirroring the ones taken decades prior as a loving gesture to include and honour Eileen and Sylvester with each new union. What a loving tribute that we were privileged to be a part of and are so happy to share.

• Eileen and Sylvester were married at St. Patrick’s church in Niagara Falls and posed together on the same church steps that led Jenn to Luca on her own wedding day last May.

• Eileen and Sylvester’s reception was held at the Brock Hotel (now the Crowne Plaza Hotel) where Eileen worked for many years. It was there that the newlyweds posed for their formal portraits on the stairs of Oakes Gardens, which the hotel overlooks to this day.
