She photographs fashion, lifestyle and travel and is based between Toronto, Ontario and Boston, MA. She photographs what everyone wants to remember. She's hardly ever seen without a camera in hand and prefers being behind it, even when she's in front. Prior to launching her photography company, Smita spent more than ten years in the animation industry with a Bachelors in Art & Art History from the University of Toronto and Post-Grad in computer animation from Sheridan College. She has worked on Emmy and Gemini Award winning television shows including Nick Jr.'s The Backyardigans and Peep and the Big Wide World.
