-- "The first principle is that when the mind is calm, defective views disappear all by themselves. All illusions disperse once we reach a state of calmness. Since all activities originate from the oblivion of the reality of the divine Absolute, starting from the mind and onward all the way to the entire cosmos. In this way, our original, timeless, absolute nature reveals itself to itself. Any other attempt to remove illusions or reach our true nature is always the activity of our mind and ego. The conclusion is that we only go round in circles, along the path line of the contents of our mind."

-- "Yoga works on each individual for his or her growth and betterment, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. It is meant for the whole of humanity. That is why it is called sārvabhauma, a universal culture. When you are at one within yourself, yoga does not end there. Having acquired a certain discipline in body, mind, senses, intelligence and consciousness, the yogi has to live in the world without getting involved in his or her actions. This is what is known as skilfulness in action, which does not just mean dexterity.
Skilfulness is when one performs one's actions without expecting good or bad results from them. The yogi's actions are performed without vice and virtue, but with purity and divinity."
— B.K.S. Iyengar, The Tree of Yoga, pg 9

-- “Akasha, meaning space, is the most general and attributeless element that contains everything else with any properties. This is just another way to describe the quantum field. Hence, the quantum field is the cosmic space in which the whole of nature exists. We observe it all day long, but we only see the contents within it, not its true nature as a quantum field. Our consciousness is always focused on some content within space, causing us to overlook the true nature of consciousness itself. We are missing the true application of gestalt therapy, which can be illustrated by a simple example where a teacher draws a dot on a blackboard and the students says they see the dot and no one pays attention to the board, to the broader basis or context that enables what they see. Similarly, we are first and foremost the space itself, then any content in it, such as the mind, body, spouse, children, finances, etc. Although we are all content, we are primarily the space, because all content is a modification of the space itself. Nothing exists separately and by itself, which is why everything's true nature is emptiness or space, ether or akasha.”

— Ivan Antic, Awakening: The Unity of the Outer and Inner Worlds (Existence - Consciousness - Bliss Book 11)

"The lack of true understanding in language models is revealed by their tendency to confabulate: to make stuff up, spouting nonsense in confident language. When I asked Open-AI’s GPT-4 to write a biography of me, it stated wrongly that I was born in London. When I asked it to do it again with fewer errors in dates and places, it got things even more wrong, saying I was born in Hammersmith, London—a revealing answer since being more specific is more likely to be wrong, as anybody who understands anything knows."

Touching the back side of fire,
My camp packs up
And sells out
And buys the top

Of the
Tallest building;
The misers
Stoke desires
There,
Seducing
Loose truths and
Tight nooses
Hanging out the windows -
Rope ladders -
For the dead
To climb up,
Heads down.

That's what I meant
When I said where I went
Wasn't what I depended
On;
You're sick with sounds
Bouncing all around
Like a cocaine-sniffing clown
Inside your head;
But who cares
Anyways,
You won't listen
And I can't speak
To the dead.

I can't find what hides between the lines,
I can't lose what chooses to curve,
I can't sleep when the streets are so noisy,
I can't stay awake when I have to fake knowing the truth;
I can't listen to the orders about borders
Given out by pedantic and merciless men,
Spouting hope about how most of what's happening
Has and never will happen again;
And yet
On
And on
And on we revolve,
Around talk
And talk
And talk about doubts,
About
Costs
And costs
And costs:
Hidden amounts
"Unprecedented";
Can't get lost in anything
Anymore,
It all being so flat;
Might as well
Lay it all down,
A shell
Left to bleach
In the sand.

Original photo (3rd slide) is of a small bush with yellow leaves. The 2nd slide is my edit. The 1st slide is what Wonder AI did with my photo using the prompts: Library, Smokey Room, Many Quiet People.

Oil in the lantern
But no light;
We fight
Almost every day;
Her ways
Or the highways,
"Don't be stupid..."
She'd often say;
We've sailed together since I was young,
And for almost all of it
Things were fine;
Then she started changing,
Berating me
For too much slack on the lines;
Confusion turned into rage
As I exhausted myself
Defending myself
For being myself
My way;
"I learnt it all
From you!"
"Don't be stupid..."
Grey
Overcast
Skies
Pulse purple
On the horizon;
We're not turning around;
A parent becomes a danger
If they take their life out
On their young.

The third photo is of the original - a close-up of a mirror; the second is my edit of the original; the first slide is what Wonder AI did with my photo when I plugged it in with the prompts: Mother daughter fighting; sinking ship; sos

The poem is an original by me inspired by Wonder's augmentation.
