One kid had big, silly energy… the other had a runny nose 😅
Not exactly what you think of for “perfect” setup for family photos?
But this is real life with little kids.
They move, they play, they get messy!
And honestly, that’s where the BEST moments come from, so this family mini session turned out great!
I don’t expect kids to sit still or have it all together. I build the session around who they are that day (runny nose and all).

And somehow, it always comes together in the most beautiful way 🤍
Save this if you’ve ever thought “we’ll wait until things are a bit more put together” before booking photos.

They come from connection, patience, and a little bit of playful chaos 🤪🧡

Not every session starts out calm… and that’s okay 🫶🏼

This sweet family had one little guy who needed to move and another who took his time warming up.
 (Which, honestly, is so normal.)

And this is exactly why time matters.
We slowed things down, followed their lead, and gave them space to just be kids! Then somewhere in between the movement, the pauses, and the in-between moments… these happened ✨
The smiles. The connection. The real stuff.

If you’ve ever worried your kids are “too busy” or “won’t cooperate,” I want you to know this: you don’t need ‘perfect’ behaviour. You just need the right kind of session.

Full sessions are designed for this 🤍 More time, more flexibility, and a relaxed experience that lets your family settle in naturally.

That said, if your kids warm up quickly and you’re looking for something short and sweet, my mini sessions can be a beautiful fit too 🥰
