Nostalgia, in black + white.

For us, the photographs that stay with us aren’t always the ‘picture-perfect’ ones. They’re the ones that capture how it actually felt; often in those small, fleeting moments you didn’t even know were being photographed.

Since losing my dad last fall, I often find myself pouring over photographs of him. I don’t focus on whether they’re perfectly composed. I just want to see him and feel connected to him again. It has made us even more certain of the power of photographs. They can bring back the feeling of a moment, and sometimes, even bring someone back to you, if only for a moment.

These are the photographs we give our couples. The ones that don’t just show what their wedding day looked like, but bring them right back to how it felt. 🤍
