Introducing Nico who came along to his session with his favourite person, Mckinley. ❤️

Nico is one of those dogs who just wants to be included. Wherever Mckinley is going, Nico is ready to come along.
Agility? Absolutely.
Sheep herding? Yep.
Disc, camping, paddle boarding, hiking? He’s in.
He’s a curious little guy who clearly believes life is better when you’re doing it together.
And apparently Nico has even figured out how to get the burrs out of his own coat. 😂
What a wonderful afternoon with these two and their mum. I can’t wait to share the rest of their gallery. ❤️

Meet Ronin. ❤️
Ronin will be 8 in October, and sadly, we don’t know how much longer we have with this beautiful girl.
I met Ronin and her mum for a very special session, and by the end, I have to admit I was struggling to hold back the tears.
Her mum told me about their adventures at the huge leash-free park in Ancaster, where Ronin would disappear into four-foot-high grass, running through it with her mouth open and ears flapping.
Every 15 feet or so, her head would suddenly pop up above the grass... pure joy... before she disappeared again and carried on running.
It was such a privilege to spend the morning with Ronin and her mum, and to create memories that will become something to be treasured for a lifetime.

Meet 15 year old Beaker. ❤️

Some dogs change your life in ways you never expected.

Beaker’s mum told me that he taught her how to love unconditionally, how to slow down and pause, to breathe more slowly, and most importantly, to live in the present.

Together they’ve been through relationships ending, the unexpected loss of her mum, the pandemic, moving home, and long term disability. Through it all, Beaker has been there.

He makes sure she gets enough sleep, gets outside, eats at normal times and even remembers to take her medication. He really does sound like the world’s most adorable personal life coach. 💯

Their adventures together have also taken them through countless dog training classes, agility, scent detection and all sorts of tricks. And these days, Beaker even has talking buttons.

His favourite?

Roast beef, obviously. 😂

I think the thing that really stayed with me was what his mum said...

“I don’t know what life looks like on the other side, but I am filled with gratitude for every day we have together.”

What a very special bond. ❤️

Meet one-year-old earth angel Phoebe. ❤️😇❤️
What a wonderful sunrise session we had yesterday with this beautiful girl and her lovely family. Some mornings just come together perfectly, and Phoebe was an absolute dream in front of the camera.
We created some gorgeous images, and I can’t wait to show her family the rest of their gallery and help guide them through choosing their artwork for their home.

Introducing the beautiful Pixie and her mum. ❤️
Pixie is sweet, stubborn, affectionate, ridiculous, and apparently the one in charge of enforcing bedtime.
Every evening, Pixie heads upstairs and stares down from the top of the stairs as if to say, “Excuse me, why are you still down there?”
If that doesn’t work, she returns with her chewy holder and places it directly in front of her mum. If that still fails, the Chewbacca noises begin. 😂
Because apparently bedtime isn’t a time in Pixie’s house. It’s a series of conditions her mum is contractually obligated to meet.💯
Pixie’s mum applied for one of our exclusive couture fine art sessions because she wanted something that captured their relationship in an over-the-top, beautiful, artistic way. Not just a beautiful photograph of Pixie, but artwork that feels like them.
And that’s exactly what we created.✨✨✨
The contrast of Pixie’s gorgeous colouring and strong little physique against this spectacular couture dress was simply incredible.
Their collection will now live in one of our handmade luxury coffee table books, alongside three large pieces of wall art, including a panoramic piece designed to show off the full drama of that incredible dress.💃💃💃
This is what these sessions are all about. Creating one-of-a-kind artwork that celebrates the relationship you share with your dog and gives you something extraordinary to treasure every day. ❤️

Introducing the fabulous Carolyn and Nene. ❤️
Nene is named after Carolyn’s favourite Real Housewife of Atlanta, Nene Leakes, and apparently she has taken that responsibility very seriously.
This girl knows she is the star of the show.
Her favourite stage? The elevator in their condo. The moment those doors close and Nene spots another person, she is ready for her grand entrance. Up she pops onto her hind legs, determined to get their attention. And if they so much as look in her direction, it’s game on. Expect spinning, excitement, and an enthusiastic campaign of kisses. 😂
Nene has never met a stranger. Only future best friends who haven’t realised it yet.

This couture fine art session was the perfect opportunity to celebrate a dog with this much personality, and what a dream morning we had creating stunning artwork with Carolyn and her very own leading lady. ❤️

Meet the wonderful Shrimpy. ❤️
Shrimpy and his mum were an absolute joy to spend the morning with. By the end of the session, I was seriously considering how I would fit him in my car and take him home with me. 😂
Shrimpy has been through more than his fair share. Cancer three times, kidney disease, bloat twice, IBD... and yet here he is, full of personality and living his best life with his wonderful family.
From taking down the family Christmas tree to stealing the fluffy ornaments, to insisting he should be included whenever his humans head out onto the inflatable tubes at the cottage, Shrimpy has never been one to miss out on the fun.🍤🍤🍤

We met this very special boy through our friends Goldenvale Vet Hospital where Shrimpy is boyfriend to Jennifer Anderson ‘s Rizzo!!!. ❤️

I can’t wait to share the rest of his gallery.

Meet the incredible Apollo. ❤️
Apollo was an absolute joy to work with, incredibly focused, and just a wonderful dog all round.
But Apollo’s story is even more special.💯
After losing her beloved dog Kilo on Christmas Day in 2018, Apollo’s mum was devastated. Then she received an alert about a Doberman looking for a home at the Caledon Animal Shelter.
She went to meet him, applied to adopt him, and Apollo came home.
At first, he was a handful. His drive and energy were unlike anything she had experienced before, so she sought help from a professional dog trainer.
And then something unexpected happened.
She stayed on as a volunteer with the trainer and eventually became a dog trainer herself.
So it’s fair to say Apollo didn’t just find his forever home.
Apollo changed her life. ❤️
What a privilege it was to photograph this incredible boy. I can’t wait to share the rest of his gallery.
