Don'ts before your 📸 session:

1. Don't experiment with your appearance (i.e. haircut, hair colour or manicure) the day of or even a few days before your photo session.

P.s. the reasons why and what you should rather do about it - you can read in my guide that I send out prior to your session.

2. Avoid any cosmetological procedures at least a few days before your session.
⠀
3. Don't drink too much water the night before your photoshoot. We don't want those puffy eyes!
⠀
4. Don't hesitate to ask whatever questions you have before or during the shoot. I'm here for you! 🤍

Under this beautiful post I wanted to explain how my pricing works.
⠀
I know that sometimes people question photographers' prices (in general and mine in particular) and I get it. Over $200 per hour may seem like a lot of money.
⠀
However, besides spending an hour or two with you on the shoot itself, we spend hours before & after that.
⠀
i.e. I spend quite some time planning your photo shoot, developing an idea, helping you choose the outfits and book the studio, creating a personalized mood board, shooting and *drum roll* editing.
⠀
In the end, you don't pay for just one hour with me, you pay for hours of work put into that final result.
⠀
So here's a friendly reminder:

Next time you doubt the artistic work prices, please try to remember that there's tons of intangible work being done to deliver the product you'll love 🤍

1. Send your photographer a few reference pictures of what pictures you want to get. I don't read your mind (unfortunately 🥴)
⠀
2. Steam your outfit prior to your session. Especially if it's clothes from silk, satin or linen material.
⠀
3. Wash your hair the day of or the day before the shoot (while it may seem super obvious to you, it isn't so for everyone).

4. Get some good sleep.
⠀
5. Trust your photographer and enjoy your photo shoot 💫

Time to post part 2 about the Toronto studios I love 🤍

1. - these studios are extremely inclusive and have the widest variety of types of studios to offer. Mint room studios also nailed their studios' interior designs and therefore are on my list.

I personally adore their "Kitchen" and "Sanctuary" studios with the latest being perfect not only for couples sessions but product photography. Also note that both of these studios can fully operate at extra cost. That is, you can cook in their Kitchen studio and have an access to water in their Sanctuary studio.

2. .studios - I've talked about these before but I haven't mentioned their Studio C.

It's a cozy, not too big space with paper backdrops of different colours and a minimalistic touch to it. Perfect for a solo session and beauty photography.
