Major congratulations to Sammie & Josh getting married yesterday! They had to change their plans a few times but everything worked out! Even the rain cleared just at

Hand gestures say so much, don’t you think? How in-tune are you with reading body language? I feel like I’m pretty good at it and notice subtleties very well. The second photo is not posed and it’s photographed as it’s happening (I hate to interrupt a moment unfolding, because you never know what will happen next). Revisiting old wedding photos I shot because I’m definitely missing shooting weddings!

Feeling so grateful for all the inquiries I’ve been getting in the last couple of weeks! Social media marketing stresses me out but I’m glad it’s working! Marketing is the least favorite part of being a photographer but I know it’s an important one to connect with couples like you! ❤️

Here are a few things that I found helpful:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
• go for a walk!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
• watch a film that makes you feel good (in another post I’ll explain what my go to film used to be)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
• blast music and have a dance party in your room 🎶⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
• and chocolate 🍫

Our dogs have spent every single day with us for the last 12 months at home. It took us some time to train Charlie with his separation anxiety (pre-covid) but now we are back to square one. I’m pretty sure our dogs are loving all the quality time so far.

What are some of your dog’s habit when dealing with separation anxiety? Mine likes to mark inside the house and of all things my new kitchen island. I’m embarrassed to admit this but my dogs wear diapers when we leave. It’s a slow progress 🤦🏻‍♀️ .

Getting ready for her city hall wedding this past summer. They had planned on a city hall wedding before the pandemic hit, and even there was a last minute switch as the city hall was closed and the ceremony took place at the hotel near by. Sometimes you just gotta go with the flow and spend your energy where you can control things. ✨ .
