Matt Black’s Riders Pine Ridge, South Dakota (2016) has been lodged in my head for a long time.
When I found myself next to a black horse and a white horse this weekend, I couldn’t help but think of it, watching and waiting for the moments when two horses might briefly become one. 🖤🤍 I would have loved to stay there longer to get just the right shot but here’s what I captured!
