Since removing Adobe Creative Cloud from my Lenovo ThinkStation it is running fast & flawlessly. I still have older stand-alone (non-subscription) versions of Lightroom & PhotoShop that do not require ACC to function, plus alternatives that do not brick my system on a regular basis. Just say no to Ensh*ttification.

It was on this day, May the 19th in 1973 that Paul Simon released 'Kodachrome' as a single in the USA.

The single reached number two in the US charts, but was not released as an A side on the UK singles market - the BBC could not play the track because it broke their own rules on copyright/advertising/product placement.

However the track went on to be a highly popular in the UK thanks to widespread exposure on the UK's myriad of pirate and independent radio stations (1973 being the year that saw multiple independent radio stations founded across the UK)

Paul Simon released the song "Kodachrome" fifty-three years ago today - May 19th, 1973.
