Salman and Maida celebrated their son's 1st birthday and I feel honored to cover their celebration.

Asharib, Salman and Maida's boy. His parents were celebrating his 1st birthday and he was busy running around the hall like he will never get tired. The moment his parents let him out of his stroller, he ran without a care in the world. He ran like the wind. It was hard for me to get a hold of him. I had his family grab him so I could get a picture of him.

"Bringing the light into the darkness."

This time I had the opportunity of covering an event by Starlight Children's Foundation Canada at one of finest meeting areas of Fairmont Royal York. Many guests were there to acknowledge the work of Starlight. For more than 25 years, Starlight Children’s Foundation has been dedicated their foundation to improve the quality of life for children with serious illness by providing entertainment, education and family activities that help them cope with the pain, fear, and isolation of prolonged illness.

I was very moved by the guests who took part in the foundation with such great interest. It shows that there are still many people on earth who want to do the right thing and I think it is the only reason why the earth is still living.
