Oh hey summer
How’s everyone doing? I myself just got back from a wedding in Macedonia and am jet lagged af!
For my first post of the summer I want to share a quote from the fantastic Moira from Schitt’s Creek:
“Take a thousand naked pictures of yourself now. You may currently think, "Oh, I'm too spooky." Or, "Nobody wants to see these tiny bo***es." But, believe me, one day you will look at those photos with much kinder eyes and say, "Dear God, I was a beautiful thing!"”
Because it’s so true. I know I can often take my body for granted, and it’s so easy to say “I’ll do it another time, or when I lose some weight”, totally missing my own point of why I want to photograph and document myself. Don’t be like me, don’t put it off for “another time”. What’s the worst that could happen? Every year I look back on older photos of myself with so much love. Even if I don’t always feel the same way in the present, I know I will in the future!
