While Josh and Esther were out for a workout and grabbing coffee afterward, an entire team of friends was busy transforming JTM Cake Studio & Cafe in Cambridge behind the scenes.

Since they’re both coffee lovers, Josh rented out the café for a few hours for the proposal. Esther had absolutely no idea what was waiting for her.

Her sister, Jessica, who is a baker, also prepared a beautiful engagement cake so everyone could celebrate together after she said yes.

The proposal was incredibly emotional, and it was so special to witness Esther’s genuine reaction when she realized what Josh had planned.

After celebrating with family, cake, and coffee, we headed out for a golden hour engagement session around Cambridge to end the day.

Did you know you can actually hire someone to take care of your fur baby on your wedding day? As a wedding photographer, I think this is such a great idea! Your fur baby gets to be part of the special moments, while someone else makes sure they’re taken care of and I get to capture it all. 🤍
