DP is still alive and well. But things have been looking a lot different day-to-day. I have so much to share and so much to be grateful for this year and it’s only a few days into April.

Q1 was lots of travelling, shooting, creating, planning, grieving, resetting my nervous system, winning, yapping, mentoring, learning, reading, listening, and I can’t forget the birthday shenanigans 🎂

Now it’s time to wrap some things up, move into a new chapter, and start executing.

Imposter syndrome: real or just a trendy buzz phrase? 🤔

After filming ’s promo, I’m leaning toward real - because her words hit hard.

It’s crazy how leaders and executives still get those feelings of inadequacy. You’d think after reaching a certain level, that anxious feeling would disappear no??

And this is why people neeeeeeeeed to hear Tanya speak and work with her gahtdammit!

Sooooo I 100% almost gave myself a heart attack at this event 😭☕️

I showed up ready to celebrate turning one and somehow ended up drinking enough coffee to power a small village.

An oat milk latte, a banana bread latte, an americano, two virgin espresso martinis, two affogatos, and an iced birthday cake latte 😵‍💫 I love their coffee way too much and clearly forgot I’m a human with limits.

I had heart palpitations and zero chance of sleeping that night, but I did walk away with two lessons.

#1: Samson’s Daughter makes some of the best coffee I’ve ever had and…
#2: Even though I’m a coffee addict, crossing the three drink line is basically signing up for chaos lol 🤣

Now onto the actual event. Not only did I get to capture their first birthday celebration, but I also got to host them at .to which made the whole day hit even harder 🎉

From affogatos, mocktails, prizes, and goodies from their favourite small businesses, it was just one of those days filled with good drinks, good eats and good people ✨

Being able to celebrate friends’ businesses and document moments like this genuinely feels like a gift 💛

We covered the .enhancements 2-year anniversary and honestly? Toronto needs to give them their flowers. Having one brick-and-mortar here is impressive. Having two???? BOW DOWN PEOPLE 👏🏽
