It was a pleasure to have taken photos of 50+ beautifully-dressed women who were competing for a place to participate in a Qipao final competition in Shenzhen, Hong Kong and Macau in June 2016.
It looked like a fashion show with Chinese traditional dress called Qipao or Cheongsam. All the participants did a great job modeling their Qipao. It was quite a blaze of colour but due to artificial lighting some colours were not as vibrant in all photos.
I took photos of most of the participants but due to the sheer number of dresses (up to 3 per participant) I only shot what I could.
Congratulations to all who participated ... each modeled exceptionally well ... in fact as well as a professional model. Congrats to the organizers for producing such a colorful contest and finally congrats to the winner who will go on to the final in China.
