“Is that AI?” 🫣
It’s one question that’s sparking a lot of conversation in our industry.
I’ll be honest… as a commercial food photographer, it’s a bit of a loaded question.
Behind every commercial shoot are countless creative decisions: lighting, styling, composition, client goals, art direction, and hundreds of tiny adjustments that happen in real time.
So when someone looks at all of that work and assumes it’s AI…
…well, it’s hard not to feel like the craft gets overlooked.
Technology will continue to evolve, and so will our industry. But the creative vision, experience, and problem-solving behind great commercial photography still matter.
The gear changes, but the vision stays ours. 🥂
