I’m so happy with how this shoot turned out. When V approached me to create this together, she said she wanted a beach goddess shoot that would help her to feel beautiful and celebrate the divine feminine within her. I think we delivered 😌 I have so many gorgeous shots from this perfect sunset evening, I can’t wait to share more! And I would love to do more shoots like this!

The nature experience at Sarana Institute is unlike any other... This 171-acre land is home to not only nine freshwater springs, two ponds and a small lake, but it has many diverse habitats, including meadows, pine, cedar, and mixed-wood forests, bog, wetland, and is the source of the Big Head River that flows into Georgian Bay. You truly have to be there to feel its magic, although I hope some of these photos can capture even a fraction of the energy.

I highly recommend checking out Sarana Institute (https://buff.ly/3Wwfy2j). Their 2024 Yana Retreat is open for registration! This weekend retreat for ages 18-35 provides a ‘reset’ in nature to help young adults ground into their authentic selves through mindfulness, compassion, food, and nature awareness skills. I am so excited to help promote this retreat because I truly believe in it -- I have seen firsthand the benefits that increased mindfulness has had in my life. Plus, I was so lucky to have made lifelong friends from the retreat. Earlybird prices are available now!!
