Sara Catharina prints is replacing Prints for the CURE. I'm still here - just rebranding myself. I'm hoping to share more prints and amazing new products, print finishes and mounts in the weeks and months to come. Thank you for your patience while I grow into my new skin

end hours taking shots of one flower. Fortunately for me, a lot of friends, family and strangers appreciate that side of my work as well. All of my prints are for sale, please just send me a message :)

A friend nominated me for the B&W challenge that's been going around Facebook and while I was looking for images to post, I came across this one which I kinda love, but have never posted anywhere. Although you can't tell from this photo, this flower was the size of a softball (if not bigger!), so it made wonder....it must grant some pretty hearty wishes, right? ❤️

New pictures from a Mindfulness (MBSR) retreat I was on yesterday. Enjoy

Today I spent the day in silence at a meditation retreat as part of the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction program based on the teachings of Jon Kabat-Zinn.
During the lunch hour/free time, we were allowed to wander the grounds mindfully (ie in the present moment, without judgment) to be with our thoughts.
Included in this album are some of the images that represented those moments for me

It's official!!! Prints for the CURE page has been changed to Sara Catharina Prints! Really thrilled about this :D
I'm so glad I didn't have to start a new page and ask fans to follow. Thank you for sticking with me during these changes! Xoxo

Happy Holidays everyone!
I just want to give you a heads' up that I've applied to Facebook to change the name of this page to Sara Catharina Prints. *Keep your fingers crossed!!!*

I'm doing this so that I can sell my prints as I've always wanted to do without worrying about the TM 'For the Cure' anymore.
Please be patient if you get any notifications that the name has changed (assuming they allow it!).

If it's approved, I will be updating the page with prints for sale far more regularly and I will continue to search for a new place to donate a portion of the sales :D

Hi folks! I have some news to share about Prints for the CURE.....

After weeks of thought, I've decided that I won't be able to run the Prints for the CURE campaign this year. I haven't decided what the future holds, either. For the past few years, I've had a moral and ethical dilemma in donating the money I've raised to the 'For the Cure' foundation and its founder, SGK. I encourage you all to do research about where the money raised goes. Cancer has become a business (and I'm not even talking about the alleged cures out there) and all that matters to these companies is making money.

Unfortunately, because "For the Cure" is a patented phrase, I can not use it to raise the money and donate it anywhere BUT to the SGK foundation. Lawsuits have ensued from situations like that and I will share with you that I was strongly 'warned' a couple of years ago so it applies to the 'little guys' too. A cure is not the priority and I can't accept that. Until I find an alternative name and/or charity I want to raise money for, I have to back out of this project for now.

I have no issues with anyone donating their own money and fundraising efforts to any charity, I only encourage you to research how the money is used.

For anyone who is interested in my work, it will always be available for purchase :) Please just send me a message!

Thank you all so much for understanding and for your support over the past several years. You made this project successful for me

Hello friends!!
It's approaching that time of year again! Unfortunately, my fall is looking pretty full and I'm not sure how much time I can commit to the PFTC campaign. So here's where YOU come in!!

Do you participate in any official Run for the Cure campaigns? Are you looking for creative ways to fundraise? I'm willing to hand over the reigns to you! I don't have much time to market and promote the campaign, so that would be up to you. I would give you all of the materials to fund raise and you would sell the images and the $15 raised from each print would be donated in YOUR name! I would be responsible for the printing and mailing of all the prints. Keep in mind that over the past few years, we've raised a few hundred dollars each year!

If you or anyone you know (or the team you're running with etc) would be interested in joining the fundraising efforts, get in touch with me! :) [email protected]

Happy Birthday, Canada!!

Today, I have the great pleasure of heading down to Tango Palace in Leslieville to hang some of my art work!! Head down there and give them some love and check out my wares ♥ They'll be up for the month of July!

Tango Palace is the perfect place to stop in for an afternoon treat. It's got a really neat Art Nouveau style, stained glass lamps, and large comfy chairs at every table. From the outside it seems dark, but inside this translates into coziness. It seats about twenty,...
