Who says you can’t shoot in the rain? Some of our favourite photos have happened on rainy wedding days. If the forecast looks a little moody, here are a few things that can actually make it work in your favour:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1. Clear umbrellas are your best friend.
They keep you dry, let the light through, and honestly… they photograph beautifully.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2. Book a backup indoor space.
Whether it’s a cozy studio or a nearby venue, having an indoor option gives you peace of mind and plenty of flexibility for portraits.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
3. Pack a second pair of shoes.
Think comfort and grip. You’ll thank yourself later when walking through wet grass or cobblestone streets.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
4. Trust your photographer.
We’ve done this before, and we’ve got you. Rain is just another element to play with.

Rainy days might not be what you hoped for, but they often turn out to be some of the most memorable.
