Ontario is expanding 110 km/h speed limits to more stretches of provincial highways, including sections of Highways 400, 401, 402, 403, 416 and 417, plus the QEW, Highway 7 and Highway 115.
The province says the change follows earlier pilot projects and will bring nearly 90 per cent of Ontario’s freeway kilometres under the higher limit. For drivers across the GTA and beyond, that means 110 km/h is becoming the new normal on much more of the highway network.
