Monica and Phil first met while attending Cardinal Newman high school in Scarborough, Ontario. Although in the same grade, they didn’t have a class together until their final semester.
Years later, a mutual friend invited Monica and Phil to a barbeque in Guildwood. The two eventually found themselves apart from the group, catching up and exchanged phone numbers. From that moment forward, Phil would invite Monica to every party at his condo downtown.
Monica and Phil continued to be friends for years, until during one of Phil’s parties (a spontaneous Kegger night), the two would kiss for the first time, thanks to some liquid courage.
From there on, they started going on dates, and their friendship grew on another level. They found themselves feeling more than “just friends”, and the two fell madly in love.
Over the years you have seen Monica and Phil’s friendship grow and blossom into a loving relationship. From urban adventures in the city to travelling to different parts of the world, Phil and Monica have become inseparable.
On June 18, 2021, after retracing the steps of their first date, Phil proposed to Monica.
