🌸 ~ I first photographed this family when sofia (who is now 13 and taller than both mom & dad), was just a tiny smiley one year old ⏳ then again when lil’ bro tyler was a toddler, then when lil’ sis kiana was a toddler, and this year when kiana celebrated her 6th bday! 🌿 how lovely to bear witness to the bittersweet passage of time 🫶 📸

🌲 ~ thomas & the trees! ✨ here is the first share of my 2025 season in toronto! and my second time capturing this lil’ guy who is in love with all plants, trees and the forest 💚 absolutely love this mini session (yup, we shot for only 30 min!) which kicked off my family shoots for this canadian season a couple of weeks ago. 🫶

👉 PS: I have to confess that unfortunately I’m going to be a bit slow with posting this season 🥲 I’ve shared here a few times that after almost 15 years of working as a professional photographer, I have very little energy left for instagram 🫠 it takes time and energy to create these posts, time which I’d rather focus on editing all my sessions! so if I’m not posting a lot here it simply means I’m too busy to do so. sorry! 😆(thankfully my longtime clientele understands this) ☺️ to my newcomer clients, I promise I will be sharing more, slowly but surely 🙌

💍🌴 ~ last week I was asked by brandon to capture a surprise proposal for his fiancée camille while they were on vacation here in brazil ♥️ we planned it for their very last day on ilhabela (the lovely tropical island accross my town) and it turned out to be cloudy and rainy, but of course that didn’t stop us (and the lush nature here looks gorgeous regardless!) 🌿 I was hiding behind a wall for the first moments and only revealed myself after she had her ring on… such lovely moments! 🤍

⏳ 📸 ~ 13 years of photographing olivia & mama michelle! 🥹 while going through my extensive library of files recently, I thought it’d be nice to share a special collection of portraits of olivia, a lil’ ray of sunshine whom I’ve had the pleasure of capturing every single year since 2012 🧡 I actually photograph the entire family, so dad sean & lil’ bro spencer are missing on this post, but since we’re limited to 20 images, I wanted to feature only the girls for now 🫶

(I hope you like them ! 🥰 looking forward to our 14th session this fall 🍂 the cover portrait is from 2016)

~ there are many families who have trusted me to photograph them multiple times over the years and I’m thinking of sharing more of this special time-travel features… 😌 it takes time to search through folders of several years, select the images and re-edit each one (as I used a totally different retouching style during my first few years), but I think the end result is worth it! ☺️

🇧🇷 ~ I recently had the pleasure of photographing this couple in one of the most popular historical towns of brazil! ♥️ it’s called “paraty” and it’s located in the very south of the state of rio de janeiro but it’s actually closer to são paulo city then it is to rio de janeiro city. from where I live on the north shore of são paulo state, it’s a 4-hr drive to get there. anyway, it’s a very unique town with a completely preserved historical area dating back to the 1600s! ⏳ the streets are filled with original cobblestone and the colonial architecture with its colorful arched doors and windows - and lots of churches - is simply delightful. tourists from all over the world fill the streets every day of the year. it’s definitely a must for anyone visiting brazil! I had been there many times over the years (one of brazil’s biggest photography festivals happens there, as well as an international jazz festival!) but this was my first time doing a photoshoot. 🥰🙏

🌴 ~ love by the beach ♥️ moments from a recent couple session shot here in my hometown of são sebastião 🇧🇷 (fun fact 👉 for those who enjoy and know a thing about surfing, the 3x world champiom gabriel medina is from this exact beach where we shot the session - it’s called maresias - the waves were calm that day but with the right wind, there would be lots of surfers behind those rocks!) 🏄‍♂️ 🫶
