We are Hugh and Katarina. We are best friends, we are husband and wife, we are parents to one mischievous toddler and proud owners of a love-bug puppy and we are wedding photographers. We love to take pictures, to travel, to laugh, to eat, to snuggle, and to dream, but most of all we love get to know new people...

We believe that every wedding and every couple is unique and should be treated as s

uch. To us there are no "clients" just friends who want their special moments captured. We love to document stories as they unfold with all their smiles, tears, embraces, and special attributes. We love natural light, we love whimsical and vintage details, and we always take extra care to capture all of this in every wedding and life event we photograph. We love what we do and we do it with love...

Our story: We’ve been in the wedding business for over 5 years now and love every minute of it. Our journey began in Asia, where we worked as photographers and writers for a travel and lifestyle magazine. We loved meeting and documenting people's lives so much that when we returned to Canada we decided to make photography a permanent staple in our lives...

Because we are a small business we tend to only photograph a limited amount of weddings a year, we do this because we really like to get to know our clients and provide the best and most personal experience possible - we believe that your wedding day is a very intimate and special event and should be captured as such. Last week we said goodbye to the furry love of our lives -Bubi. It took a week for me to write this without breaking down. Even now it’s hard to keep it together. She was with us for a beautiful 17.5 years - born in Korea, raised in Ottawa and Toronto - our little traveller. She was with us almost the entire duration of mine and Hugh’s marriage and our kids’ whole lives. How do you say goodbye to a creature who has given their whole life to love you?

A friend once told me that we don’t deserve dogs - they are love incarnate. It’s true, we probably don’t, but they are so necessary in a world that is often harsh and seems almost loveless at times - they teach us the value of unconditional love and that’s why it’s so hard to say goodbye.

We love you Bubi. Your absence is felt every day in every part our lives and hearts. I hope you’re somewhere with the ones we loved and lost, chasing squirrels and peeing on pinecones.
