Join an intimate and reflective session exploring the art of perception. Through a guided process of deep looking, participants will slow the gaze, engage the senses, and experience three featured artworks in new and transformative ways.

Discover how attention itself becomes an artistic practice — revealing the quiet intricacies of form, light, and emotion that shape the act of seeing.

This project is making its way out into the world and I couldn’t be more grateful to those that are helping it along its way. Thank you to jurors and .j.tully.3 and International Photography Hall of Fame Director Rob Grimm for including my image ‘Truly Madly Deeply’ in the ‘Vision and Viewpoint’ exhibition. It’s an honour to be included in this beautiful show.

I am deeply honoured to announce that my new project, ‘The Secret Keepers’, has been selected as a Top 200 finalist in this year’s Critical Mass. Thank you , and the pre-screen jurors for believing in this deeply personal and challenging project, and for helping me get this work and its message out into the world.

Combining digital long exposures, tintypes and sliver prints, the images in ‘The Secret Keepers’ were created through seven stages of editing, printing, reworking and reprinting: an intentionally arduous process that mirrors the average of seven attempts it takes to permanently leave an abusive partner.

The project nurtures discussion about intimate partner abuse, including psychological abuse and coercive control, moving this epidemic out of the shadows and into the light.

Special thanks to and our amazing masterclass group for their help getting this project to the finish line.
