Being in a multicultural relationship means to respect, be curious and most of it, merge into the other's traditions. John has been great with getting into the Mexican side of the relationship and I am little by little embracing the Chinese one. This year is our first Lunisolar year together as a couple. Having dinner with his family and accepting I will no be taking a shower today (I DID IT YESTERDAY NIGHT 😂)

I began photography as a way to show myself, self-portraits, my life. I am continuing doing that. I am just not anymore "physically" in frame.

May this horse year brings you the strength to move forward and don't be afraid of jumping into the unexpected. Things may turn on your favor 🫰

This assignment deserves a post and a long text lol

I learnt sooooo much about my creative process this time, in which trying to control everything and not visualizing enough will lead me to uncomfortable results but just by taking a step back, breath, relax, embrace the unsuspected details, plan ahead AND TRY IT ONE MORE TIME, light will make it’s magic 🪄

Also this little honeypot from has been travelling with me all over the world, from Mexico 2018 to Europe to finally to find his home in Toronto. Have you ever bought something when you just moved by yourself/alone/independent that you still keep and comes with you in every move?

Estos días me he sentido extraña. De una persona que extraña -algo, alguien, casa- y también de ser ajena a mí.

Volteo a ver mis fotografías y jamás me hubiera imaginado publicar una foto de un Tim Hortons a mitad de una carretera que ni siquiera recuerdo el nombre. Es más, jamás hubiera imaginado que estaría viviendo todo lo que ha pasado este último año. Agradezco cada mínimo detalle pero aún me siguen las millones de preguntas… Amanda, si no eres ni de aquí ni de allá, entonces, ¿de dónde eres?
