has credited me my $2,096 back. ($1,000 that was illegally transferred out of my account and $1,096 card deposit I wasn’t able to withdraw before now)

Just like on every other platform I made a post on LinkedIn to which the Founder of PayDay wrote a comment and afterwards conversations started up in the dms at around 1am this morning all through till 4pm this evening, till I was credited the total sum.

I really want to say thank you to everyone that put a word out there for us (my wife & myself).
Thanks to all my friends, industry colleague and friends. Thank you everyone, Thank you social media for lending us your voices, Thank you for fighting this through with us. Thank you JESUS!

I have never been a victim of scam before this is a first time experience and believe me it was a bitter one and I would also like to say thank you to Favour ORI (Founder of PayDay) and the entire team for rising to the situation and his patience to get this resolved in reasonable time.

has since reached out to me to also apologise for the inconvenience this whole situation must have cost me.

Even though it took a lot of noise in here and on other platforms to get them to rise to the situation they’ve assured that they remain committed to securing funds entrusted to them and those parody accounts parading themselves as PayDay will all be brought down.

Once again I say a very big thank you to everyone that was in the comment section of PayDay raising alarm and calling their attention.

I met Deola at an industry event in 2018 at Radisson Blu. While i was about leaving the event to pool with my colleagues back to the office, I heard someone saying hello while trying to catch up with me. I reckoned he wanted to have a chat with me but I needed to quickly catch up with my colleagues so I only told him my name and left.
Couple of hours later, I saw his friend’s request on Instagram and honestly, I was wondering how he managed to find me. He reintroduced himself in the DM and requested I share my contact with him because he’s infrequent on Instagram to which I consistently declined and told him how I don’t share mv contact with strangers - a tag which he never liked but you know a lady needed to play hardball a little. 🤭

Noticed this young man was soft-pedaling on the chase after he came to my office to see me, so I DM’d him two weeks later to find out if he was good. He told me about how he would drop deluge of messages and I would respond with a one liner and he considered that as a subtle “don’t come anywhere near me” message. That evening, I gave him my contact and that kicked off our beautiful friendship.
