Honestly, one of my favourite parts of this work is watching people relax into themselves.

That moment when someone stops performing and simply starts showing up as they are?

That’s where the magic usually begins.

There’s a misconception that strong headshots are mostly about confidence.

They’re not.

They’re about clarity.

When someone knows:
✔ how they want to be perceived
✔ what their work represents
✔ what season they’re in
✔ and what they want their presence to communicate…

everything changes.

The posture changes.
The wardrobe choices change.
The energy changes.

And suddenly the photos stop looking “posed.”

They start looking aligned.

That’s why my process has never been only about taking photos.

It’s always been about helping people see themselves more clearly first!

• their presence changes

And over time, something begins to feel slightly disconnected.

Just no longer fully aligned.

That’s why strong headshots and portraits are never only about lighting or posing.

They’re about timing.

And sometimes updating your image has less to do with business…

…and more to do with exploring who you are now.

FRIDAY FUN:

One of the funniest things about photoshoots?

Almost everyone arrives saying:
“I’m awkward in photos.”

And then…

45 minutes later they’re:
✔ fixing their jacket like a magazine cover
✔ suggesting “one more look”
✔ asking if we can do a dramatic close-up 😄

Turns out most people aren’t awkward.

They’re just not used to being guided properly.

That’s a very different thing.

Tell me honestly…
