So exciting! Izzy and I got out to the abandoned farm today to get the last of the photos for the book. I realized I haven't been back there in a couple of years, and wow what a difference! A different time of year than when Jazzy's photo was taken but it is *wild* how much more nature has reclaimed every bit of this place, and the big barn completely collapsed. I'm not going to say too much as this is a big part of the book, actually basically this timeline shown in these photos is everything. Where these abandoned houses begin, where I started photographing them, with Jazzy in the middle of it all, and ending with life now with Izzy. 🌾🏚️🌾
A century separates the first and second photo and a decade separates the second and third. Yet somehow, through photography, they all still exist together here. ❣️
