I’m in the final stretch of getting my book out into the world, and I could really use your help getting it out there and doing it justice. Pre-orders are now OPEN and I'm so grateful to everyone who has pre-ordered and helped get this book done.. I literally couldn't have done it without you. It cost almost $1,500 all together, in case you were wondering, it's not cheap to self publish! But so worth it.

Now comes the cost of getting the book out there to bookstores, libraries, extra copies for book signing events, etc.

For those of you who have been here since the beginning… this book is for you! For over a decade, you’ve watched me photograph abandoned places. You’ve seen the crumbling houses, the landscapes, the things left behind, and so many of those moments with Jazzy by my side.. but you never really saw what was happening behind the camera.

Still Standing: Time Passed Through Us Differently is the story I haven’t told in full. You’ve seen pieces of it through my photos and posts, but not the life I was trying to survive while documenting those places.

Jazzy inspired my photography, became my anchor, and losing her broke something in me that I wasn’t sure could ever be put back together. This book is about that bond, devastating loss, and the slow journey back to the light through therapy and a new companion, Izzy.

For years, I photographed buildings that were slowly falling apart while, in many ways, my own life was doing the same. Now, I look at those photos differently. Time is bringing down those old houses while I’m finally building a life worth living.

If you’ve followed my journey from those early days, I hope you’ll read this book and see more of the story behind the photos and maybe recognize a little piece of your own story in them, too.
