How in the world did these two make camping in the middle of winter with just the essentials look so special & romantic? 🏕️💘

I’m still a bit confused myself - but I left this session wanting to plan a camping trip of my own! That was the first thing I said to my husband on my drive home. 😅We’ve agreed we’ll try it… once our two under two are potty trained, because I’m not quite ready to bring a diapered toddler into the wilderness 🫣🏔️🤍

I’ve been ridiculously, genuinely lucky.

Lucky (and quite frankly, blessed)~ posting and promoting has taken the backseat at this time of my life- and yet the most wonderful people somehow continue to keep finding me.

I’m still creating, I’m still shooting, and I’m still editing and emailing behind the scenes- but as much as I’d love to - I just don’t have the capacity to say yes every time.

Instead I’ll choose to simply feel grateful that the lovely people that find me fill all the spaces I have set aside for elopements, weddings, & motherhood.

Some have different visions, some want to incorporate something creative, some want to keep things classic- all have different stories to tell, and I’m so thankful to be entrusted to capture and tell their stories.

The little details matter too. ✨

My aim for every wedding is to balance capturing two stories: who you are as a couple with how your day unfolds.

Sometimes it’s about creating space for connection through prompts and a bit of direction, because who you are as a couple is so much more than one day.

Other times, it means stepping back and quietly observing - noticing the moments and details that might otherwise go unseen or forgotten.

The beauty of your wedding day isn’t just in the planned moments - it’s in everything that happens around them. These “little details” are what help you relive the day exactly as it unfolded for years to come.

…The little details matter too.

Your wedding day moves fast — people to hug, moments to soak in, a timeline that never seems long enough. Bridal portraits don’t have to fit into that rush or location. You can step back into the dress days, weeks, or even months later and capture this new season of life in a way that is true and meaningful to the two of you.

If that kind of idea feels right to the two of you, just mention it when you book — we can plan a day to bring the dress back out and slow things down. That’s still part of your story — just told with more space to breathe.
