We nicknamed it the "Attic Views House."

Hidden near Abernethy, this abandoned brick farmhouse featured a rare attic lookout room with windows on all sides, offering incredible views across the prairie. Years later we returned, only to discover the house had been demolished.

Today, only photographs remain of one of the most unique abandoned homes we've explored in Saskatchewan.

A little Newfoundland adventure!

During our bucket list trip to Newfoundland in July, we had to stop and see the Glovertown Mill — the massive concrete remains of a 1921 pulp mill that never really got off the ground.

After processing just one shipment of logs, the mill shut down, leaving behind an incredible 90+ year-old structure towering over the River.

We’re big fans of colour photography, but every so often black and white just hits differently.

Stripped of colour, the details, light, and texture seem to carry more weight — more emotion, more story.

This is one of those moments: inside a rural Ukrainian church on the prairies, where monochrome somehow feels more powerful than anything in colour ever could.
