Tibor.

We spent an afternoon wandering through Paris last October, with no real destination, just the ease of a good friend and a light that made everything feel a little more alive.

Nafplio.

Light resting on quiet walls,
the sea breathing just below,
and time slowly softening.

Some places don’t ask for anything,
they just let you feel.

Structured, sunlit, and slightly undone.
Sacha closes the set in his own rhythm.
No noise. Just presence.
Friendship comes in many ways, and these pictures reflects it broadly.

The water in Nafplio carries a quiet kind of magic —
where the stone meets the sea,
and the blue folds into the land like a secret.

Everything feels connected here:
the lush hills, the ancient walls,
the whispers of time drifting between boats and breeze.

Some places don’t speak in words,
they simply ask you to feel —
and remember what still moves you.

I met this radiant couple just below the Acropolis on a crisp December afternoon. They needed someone to take a photo, and I happened to be passing by — camera in hand, of course. We chatted briefly, and I captured a few candid moments of their date.

She had this 70s aura — a confident elegance, joyful and grounded — the kind of presence that makes a picture feel alive. She’s been calling Greece home for over a decade, and he’s a more recent chapter in her story. Together, they glowed.

It’s encounters like these that remind me why I do what I do. Meeting strangers who become fleeting characters in my journey, listening to their stories, and turning those moments into something visual. That’s the heart of it all.

And as I travel, camera in hand, I’ll keep sharing these small yet meaningful moments with you — one frame at a time. And I intend to do this for the foreseeable future !

Nafplio, again— the other side.

Winding along the walkable path that hugs the cliffside, I found myself suspended between two worlds. On one side: the old town with its tight, narrow streets full of pastel facades and echoes of history. On the other: the turquoise curve of Arvanitia beach, kissed by light and life.

This trail wraps around the mountain like a quiet secret, offering views that shift with every step. Wildflowers burst from rocky ledges, cats nap under the sun, and locals pause to soak it all in—just like me.

Nafplio was once the first capital of modern Greece, and you can feel its weight and grace everywhere. It’s not just beautiful—it breathes.

Jann, by Seacow Head Lighthouse, PEI.

We met by chance at the foot of a lighthouse, where the wind carried stories and the sea seemed to listen in. I had just bought a fishing rod, full of enthusiasm but no clue how to use it. Jann didn’t hesitate—he smiled, offered help, and patiently threaded everything for me. I didn’t catch a single thing that day, but I walked away with a new memory and a quiet reminder of how generous strangers can be.

I snapped this portrait with my Minolta film camera—something about the softness, the texture, the little imperfections—it captures more than just light. It feels like it captures presence. I'm always trying my best to picture the nice people I meet on the road. To remember how generous and nice people can be.

Fishing might not be beginner-friendly, but I’m hooked on the idea of learning. And I’ll always remember this first try, thanks to Jann.

Wandering through Nafplio and its narrow streets feels like stepping into a story—one etched in stone, breeze, and sun. Once the first capital of modern Greece, way before Athens, the city is layered with Venetian, Ottoman, and neoclassical influences.

Every corner echoes history, from the towering Palamidi Fortress to the island-bound Bourtzi Castle watching over the bay.

There’s a certain energy here—the kind that comes from being close to the sea and surrounded by old walls that have seen it all. Mornings smell like fresh coffee and sea salt, afternoons are for slow strolls and getting lost on purpose.

It’s not just beautiful. It’s alive.

Some encounters feel effortless, like they were meant to happen. I met Dorian in Nafpaktos, and from a brief conversation, we clicked instantly. Both French, both navigating life abroad, both seeking something different, we shared a mutual understanding that made it easy to connect. What started as a chance meeting turned into an unforgettable day—driving along the coast, exchanging stories, and appreciating the small details that make a place come alive.

Dorian has a sharp eye for the world around him—an avid traveler with a thoughtful perspective. Meeting people like him reminds me why I love being on the road, take chances on strangers and go for it.

Would you rather travel alone or with new connections along the way?

Piraeus, once again. There’s something about the way golden hour touches this city—the warm glow that softens edges, deepens colors, and breathes a different kind of life into every street, every corner. The sea reflects the last light of the day, courts fill with quiet games, and the architecture catches the sun’s final embrace. A place of movement, of stories, of everyday beauty.

Have you ever watched a city change under golden hour?
