Stunning winter view over Oliver from Fairview Mountain Road.

Bit of history:
Folklore has it that a one-armed gold prospector named Reid discovered gold in this area, and the Town of Fairview (given its name for the overlook of the valley it had, which was described as a ‘fair’ view.) became home to gold miners, ranchers and businessmen. Fairview was one of B.C.’s largest towns at the turn of the century.

New Group Show - April 16-July 9th - Merle's amazing canvases were selected once again to be part of a Group Show which continues to be a great success at Nest & Nectars wonderful restaurant. There are over 30 artists exhibiting their artwork at the present Exhibit to view or for sale. Opening reception: April 24th 5-7pm.

Their food and friendly service are outstanding. For those of you who don't know Nectars and their weekend buffets—it's a must!
