It’s an exciting week to look up at the sky!
Solar eclipse just happened today (unfortunately not here in Vancouver 😫) and tonight is the Perseids meteor shower peak.

Met some cute friends in the mountain 💜
This jumpy pika was super busy munching on plants.
The marmot was so cute, but it kept running around, so I couldn’t get a good shot. 😆 The reality of wildlife photography is ending up with lots of out-of-focus shots. 😬
And there were lots of Canada jays! One of them landed on my lens. I got spooked and ended up spooking the poor bird. 😅

It was pretty cool to have Vancouver as one of the hosts cities for the World Cup! In my very biased opinion, it was for sure one of the best host cities! 😜
