This roadtrip shoot was NOT on the original moodboard 🤣

For A&R’s engagement session, they wanted a whimsical picnic in the tall grass, so that’s exactly what we had planned. But on the drive in, I couldn’t stop staring at the mountains, and then I saw their car and thought… wait, this is kind of perfect?! 👀

So naturally I asked, “That’s such a cool car.. do you guys like to roadtrip?”

100% YES.

And just like that, the moodboard got a little detour 😂

We ended up adding this whole roadtrip portion to their session, and honestly, it felt so much more them. Because sometimes the best parts of a shoot are the things you didn’t plan for… the little details that actually tell you something about the couple. 🥰🤭

So yes, we love a good moodboard (obviously 😂), but we also love leaving a little room for whatever happens along the way. Sometimes you just have to see something, say “wait… should we do that?” and go with it. 🥹🤗

Breaking our regular wedding programming for the sweetest little Baby A. 🤍

Over the course of her first year, we had the absolute joy of photographing not one, not two… but five different sessions with this beautiful family. Watching her grow from a tiny newborn curled up in her parents’ arms into this curious, smiley little girl with the sweetest personality has been such a privilege. 🥹💗

One of the most meaningful parts of what we do isn’t just documenting a single milestone… it’s getting to witness the chapters in between. The little expressions, the chubby cheeks, the first moments of independence, and all the tiny changes that somehow happen in the blink of an eye. 🥹🫶🏻

Thank you for trusting us to preserve these precious memories. It is an honour we never take for granted, and we are so incredibly grateful to grow alongside the families who invite us back, year after year. 🤍

Some engagement sessions feel like a photoshoot.
This one felt like stepping into a film.🎬

We spent the evening wandering the very estate where Riverdale was filmed, but what made this session unforgettable wasn’t the location - it was how naturally it reflected Monica & Taylor. 🫶🏻

Taylor has always had a love for vintage cars, so instead of simply using one as a prop, we built the entire evening around something they genuinely love doing together… just with our own ✨slightly✨ more editorial twist.

The result? Timeless, cinematic, and unmistakably them.

Soft florals, candlelight, black-tie elegance, and a celebration that felt as though it belonged in another era.. If old-world romance had a modern love story it would be this one of Mona and Miles’ 🫶🏼

Every detail was understated yet intentional, allowing what mattered most to take center stage - Thank you again for all of your trust, Mona & Miles and here’s to the beginning of your forever. ✨

The perfect blend of old-world romance with untamed, garden-inspired florals, candlelight, soft textures, and timeless details that were intentionally layered to feel refined, timeless, and effortlessly romantic.. ✨

Major appreciation to the talented Paris Destination Wedding Planner for the vision and to bring all the magic together and Weddings and events/ Da Fiori Floral Design /Polina Babina for creating florals that felt wild, romantic, and completely at home in the space. These are the kinds of details we could photograph all day. 🌸✨

Most couples dream of golden hour in Lake Como, but for this editorial at Villa Monastero with , we intentionally chose the morning instead. ✨

Not only did it allow us to avoid the usual crowds (cue tips for shooting at Lake Como), but more importantly, it gave us the rich blue tones of the lake that we knew this vision deserved. There’s something about the crisp morning light against the water, the soft movement of the gown, and the quietness of Villa Monastero before the day begins that felt undeniably cinematic.

A little less “sunset romance,” a little more timeless European editorial 🤍

So many of our couples place so much trust in us, and we’re endlessly grateful for that. Because with your permission, we get to brainstorm, curate, and most importantly, create beautiful memories that feel uniquely your own.

Joanna & Terry’s stunning engagement session came to life exactly this way 🤍 And what made it even more meaningful? Joanna wore her mother’s wedding gown for the entire shoot. HOW special is that?!

The moment they told us about their lowkey Wong Kar Wai-inspired vision, we instantly knew there was no better place than Laowai for this session. Red lanterns, hot steam in the air, freshly made baos, late-night noodles, moody lighting… every corner felt cinematic in the most nostalgic way!!

Honestly… can an engagement session get any more fun than this? 🍜❤️
