Mary Matheson is a professional event photographer based in Vancouver, BC. She has teamed up with many bands to work on promotional shoots, concert photography and album art. She has shot for large scale festivals, circus artists and arts organizations. She uses state of the art equipment and software to create high quality images. Mary has an extensive history with the art form, as her father is
an architectural photographer. She took a keen interest from a very young age, and would often assist her father both on site and with post production. By the time she was sixteen she launched her own photography business. At the beginning she worked for many high end clients such as art galleries, architects, construction companies and engineers. At twenty one she transitioned her focus to the music industry and has been pushing to grow this business ever since. She is thrilled to be celebrating over a decade in the industry. Her work has been published in numerous magazines, websites and as album art for various musicians. Mary's goal is to use her camera to open a world of new connections, opportunities, and most importantly, adventures. She excels at capturing life in motion and those special moments where you say "we're going to want to remember this".
