Who's with me, honestly?
When you look at photos that you've taken, or even photos that you are in, do you get transported back into the moments sandwiched on either side of that shutter closing? This is true for me and why I do all that I can to create an environment rich with memories worth revisiting time and time again.
Sorting through my achieve I discovered this shoot that I went on with my Best Day Ever Crew, Katie and Kara. I remember the morning we caught the ferry to Quadra, the morning sunrays that looked warm in comparison to the freezing wind that met us at the beach. I remember the weird RV in the parking lot and the person inside it. The laughs that we shared and the moments surrounding theses exact photos. When I look at my photos (photos that I have taken or captured in) I see the memories and the moments surrounding the photo as well, even from years ago. Is this just me, or can you relate?

Such an incredible honor to have been trusted with capturing this wedding for my dear friends Gabe and Abby!!! I've know them both for only a handful of years but have been blessed to have served with them overseas on missions and alongside them and their internship at . It's been a pleasure capturing your photos from dating, along to engagement and finally your wedding this past year!! I taught myself how to make these carousel collages today, what do you guys think? Should I post more of these?

There is something so timeless about black and white photos. Originally this shoot was a couples session but due to childcare not working out we brought the children along and I adjusted to have them in some of the photos. I love how they turned out!!
