I think the reason I’m drawn to blue hour so much, is because it’s this short window of time where there’s a feeling of calm over the landscape. ‘Calm’ is also how I want people to feel when looking at my work. The air is often cool and clear, and most people are still usually fast asleep so I get entire places to myself, which also gives me a little of freedom to be creative.
