A girls trip is always so good for the soul. Feeding grateful to have spent time a few days on Bowen island with a longtime friend for a belated birthday celebration and it was magic. We stayed in this cozy, quaint Airbnb cottage for a few nights and tempting as it was to just stay home and chill… we ventured out and had an incredible morning at the decadent new spa at , lunch at , delicious takeout pizza from the pub one night and then a fabulous pasta dinner at . I still remember finding out on my 30th birthday that I was pregnant with a girl and it was the best birthday present ever… growing up with 2 sisters, I couldn’t have been happier. Then a few months later you came along and quite literally made my life. I love you so much, kiddo and I count my lucky stars that I get to share this life with you as my daughter. Wishing you a wonderful year filled with lots of love and laughter and adventures, and a few surprises thrown in because I know you love them! Happy, happy birthday!! 🎂🎉😘

I definitely have a soft spot for destination weddings. We were married in Maui years ago and it’s such a great way to share your special day with your nearest and dearest… all while having a holiday at the same time!

What I wouldn’t give to be back in Costa Rica right now photographing the beautiful Grace and her bridesmaids! This wedding was in November 2019, a few months before Covid hit and changed everything, including the world of destination weddings for awhile. Costa Rica is such a magical place and I can't wait to go back one day soon…
