“A Seat at the Table” explores the patterns of human behaviour and the ways in which people gather, connect, and reappear in our lives through the familiar setting of the dinner table.

Using found photographs and images from my family archive, I collage moments where past and present, strangers and loved ones meet. These images highlight how these experiences (bonding over meals, conversations, shared spaces), although personal, are also deeply universal.

This piece reflects how we document our connections - through photography, through gathering, and through conversations and memories that linger long after the table is cleared.
handmade frame - also includes some process photos

“Within Sight, Out of Reach” explores the delicate nature of young memories and the inevitable loss that comes with getting older. This work reflects the growing awareness that I can never return to the life I once knew as a kid - a time that now feels overwhelmingly distant.

By altering archival images from my past, I explore the parallels between memory and disconnection, capturing the emotional gap between who I am now and the person I once was, as well as my inability to fully remember those moments. The images are displayed in a retro View-Master, inviting the viewer to engage with them in a way that mirrors the act of looking back at the past.

This work aims to speak to the universal experience of growing up and the haunting, unreachable moments that once defined us.
This work was featured as part of the 2025 Capture Photography Festival ( ) in partnership with Emily Carr University ( )✨📷

Looking back through my photos of my time in Arizona. In this quiet little town, there lies a community garden with the most terrifying scarecrow I’ve ever seen.
