Music fosters moments of connection, it gives us the ability to express ourselves and in doing so it brings us to our people. Even the most inhibited person can find some measure of freedom when experiencing live music.

The last few years have changed the music scene. Artists have gone underground, treasured venues and events have shut down, some of them permanently.

But despite all of this it still breathes and sings. People found a way to keep community alive all this time.

These photos were from my pal AVA Music's show back in August. A single person wielding a guitar in the parking lot affected me more than I realized it would. Live music has always been my haven and this experience brought that all back.

What you do is so necessary. Thank you.

Without your unconditional love and support I would not be me. You've given me everything and I know the only way I can repay you is to live my life. To live it fully; with love in every step. To always remember to share my abundance with others. To be kind and tolerant even when I'm having trouble giving those things to myself.
