a lot of people probably won’t get it but i really love creating photography that feels like it came from the late ’90s to early 2000s indie dream pop, shoegaze, old magazine editorials, grainy concert photos and all the nostalgia that comes with it

i know it can look outdated to some people. it’s not the cleanest, sharpest or trendiest style. sometimes it’s blurry, overexposed, grainy and imperfect. but that’s exactly what i love about it, there’s something about that era that feels a little more like myself

these photos probably aren’t the best example since they were taken quickly during a break between shoots but i’d love to make more time this year to create work inspired by that 1998–2003 dream pop or shoegaze nostalgia aesthetic

this year, i’d love to create more work inspired by that aesthetic, along with more 2000s punk and skate culture influences

i don’t really make money from this. photography has always been a hobby and a creative outlet for me. i just genuinely enjoy making things whether it’s tattoos, photos, videos, paintings or whatever form art decides to take

i think a part of growing up is finding your way back to the things you’ve always loved even if they’re no longer trendy 🖤

the girl on the Teleportal album cover is one of my best friends 🖤

i shot the album cover but already had a pretty clear vision of what they wanted, i mostly just helped bring it to life

we were aiming for that nostalgic ’90s–00s poster aesthetic which is why the cover has that grainy texture and saturated look, the light in the background was meant to represent a portal and the rain ended up adding this dreamy feeling ✨
